Virgin Voyages is the new cruise line that is winning every award in sight. We sailed with Virgin several times and it’s so much fun! And now there are more perks for more people. Today, Virgin announced their revised Sailing Club, Virgin’s free loyalty program.
You’re automatically entered in the Sailing Club when you complete one eligible voyage.* Once you complete two voyages you will unlock Blue Extras to enjoy on your third voyage. After four completed voyages, you’ll unlock Deep Blue Extras to enjoy more on your fifth sailing.
What are the Perks and How Do I Get Them?
Sailing Club Level (After One Sailing)
Those who have sailed with Virgin Voyages will automatically be registered for the Sailing Club loyalty program. The base level includes:
- Exclusive Offers
- First Alerts for Promos
- Members Quarterly Newsletter
All other levels will receive these offers as well.
Blue Extras Level (After Two Sailings or Status Match)
Blue Extras are perks for sailors on their 3rd or 4th sailing, or those who status matched into the system for the first time. This level aims to provide enhanced benefits to more sailors. This level is offered through the end of December 31st, 2025. The perks include:
- 1 Coffee Credit per day at the Grounds Club
- 1 Laundry Bag (By the way, the laundry bags are BIG)
- An Exclusive Cocktail event
- Dedicated Sailor Services Support
Deep Blue Extras (DBE)
Once you reach your 5th sailing, you will have Deep Blue Extras. Your perks, include all the perks of the prior two levels, plus:
- Priority Boarding right after the Rockstars! Even if only one person has Deep Blue Extras, the entire party of people sharing the cabin may board together
- $100 Bar Tab credit. Each person in the cabin that qualifies for DBE gets the Bar Tab
- Premium Wi-fi. Everyone gets free wi-fi on Virgin, but there is an upcharge for premium. With Deep Blue Extras, you get free premium wi-fi
- Free Laundry Service including which includes 2 pressed items, 1 specialty-cleaned item and the big bag of laundry
- Two Coffee Credits Per Day
What’s a Status Match?
If you have loyalty with another cruise line, you can apply to Virgin for a Status Match. Qualifying Companies and Levels:

What If I Status Matched Last Year But Have Not Yet Sailed Four Times?
Congratulations. You will continue to have Deep Blue Extras on all sailings until December 31, 2025. Try to get four sailings in before that day to be sure you will continue to receive those benefits.

*An eligible voyage is a full-fare sailing that hasn’t used a discounted access key or other low-fare pricing methods (such as gifted cruises, comped casino cruises, or voyages bought with airline points).
