Updated November 1, 2025
Update: Virgin has confirmed the benefits will continue on sailings through 2026.
The Virgin Voyages loyalty program rewards loyal sailors, and also allows status matches to high status clients of other cruise lines. Read on to learn about the revised Sailing Club, Virgin’s free loyalty program. Virgin Voyages is the new cruise line that is winning every award in sight. We have sailed with Virgin several times and it’s so much fun! And now there are more perks for more people.
You’re automatically entered in the Sailing Club when you complete one eligible voyage. * Once you complete two voyages you will unlock Blue Extras to enjoy on your third voyage. After four completed voyages, you’ll unlock Deep Blue Extras to enjoy more on your fifth sailing.
Virgin Voyages Loyalty Perks and How Do I Get Them?
With Virgin Voyages loyalty matters. They give perks far sooner with fewer sailings than other cruise lines.
Sailing Club Level (After One Sailing)
Those who have sailed with Virgin Voyages will automatically be registered for the Sailing Club loyalty program. The base level includes:
- Exclusive Offers
- First Alerts for Promos
- Members Quarterly Newsletter
All other levels will receive these offers as well.
Blue Extras Level (After Two Sailings or Status Match)
Blue Extras are perks for sailors on their 3rd or 4th sailing, or those who status matched into the system for the first time. This level aims to provide enhanced benefits to more sailors. The perks include:
- 1 Coffee Credit per day (not eligible to use with room service AKA Ship Eats)
- 1 Laundry Bag (By the way, the laundry bags are BIG)
- An Exclusive Cocktail event
- Dedicated Sailor Services Support

Deep Blue Extras (DBE)
Once you reach your 5th sailing, you will have Deep Blue Extras. Your perks, include all the perks of the prior two levels, plus:
- Priority Boarding right after the Rockstars! Even if only one person has Deep Blue Extras, the entire party of people sharing the cabin may board together
- $100 Bar Tab credit. Each person in the cabin that qualifies for DBE gets the Bar Tab
- Premium Wi-fi. Everyone gets free wi-fi on Virgin, but there is an upcharge for premium. With Deep Blue Extras, you get free premium wi-fi
- Free Laundry Service including which includes 2 pressed items, 1 specialty-cleaned item and the big bag of laundry
- Two Coffee Credits Per Day (not eligible to use with room service AKA Ship Eats)
- New beginning September 2025: Upgrade Option for Deep Blue Extra Sailors only: We’ve adjusted the Work From Sea upgrade so Deep Blue Extra Sailors can now connect 2 devices for just $30 USD (previously $55). This new pricing makes multi-device connectivity more accessible, giving them the freedom to stream, game, or work seamlessly while sailing.
What’s a Virgin Voyages Loyalty Status Match?
Until November 1, 2025, Virgin offered a program to status match if you had elite status with other cruise lines. Sadly, that ended October 31, 2025. The good news is if you successfully status matched previously, your perks will continue.
What If I Status Matched Last Year But Have Not Yet Sailed Four Times?
Congratulations. You will continue to have perks on all sailings until December 31, 2026. Try to get four sailings in before that day to be sure you will continue to receive those benefits.
Lock-It In Rates
Lock-it-in rates are deeply discounted rates with many restrictions. If you have already earned Blue Extras or Deep Blue Extras and you book a lock-it-in rate, you will still get the perks on that cruise.

A Little Fine Print
*An eligible voyage is a full-fare sailing that hasn’t used a discounted access key or other low-fare pricing methods (such as gifted cruises, comped casino cruises, or voyages bought with airline points). Reduced rate voyages and certain other booking types are not eligible to earn or receive perks. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for information on combinability.
