Ah, the WFH Cruise Life
Now that we have the smarmy radio-voice infused pitch out of the way, let’s get real.
I know that this is not something that the average person can do. Most of us don’t have a month that we can just drop to go do something like cruising. However, if you can indulge the thought for a moment, let me make a real pitch to you.
What Virgin is offering is a selected group of sailing in June, July, August, and September of this year where you can take WFH cruise and sail on their Scarlet Lady ship for four weeks in the Mediterranean. These aren’t your average offerings either because they’re throwing in some serious extras.
Starting at $9990 (this includes you and another guest), for a Central Sea Terrace they include the following:
- Premium Wi-Fi (usually reserved for people with Deep Blue Extras), ensuring the your WFH cruise stays connected.
- $10 daily coffee credit per cabin (usually reserved for people with Deep Blue Extras). The coffee they are referring to are drinks from their onboard cafes, a step up from the included drip coffee.
- Wash and Fold laundry service (usually reserved for people with Deep Blue Extras).
- Onboard RockStar support (usually reserved for people booking in RockStar suites).
- Access to Richard’s rooftop (usually reserved for people booking in RockStar suites).
With the wash and fold service, you don’t have to worry about doing laundry. Meanwhile, the premium Wi-Fi means that you can work from home cabin with no problem. Don’t worry about the Wi-Fi speeds either. Based on my personal experience with it, you’ll never have loading issues. I’ve pushed the Wi-FI to the limit and found your really only ran into problems when playing online games. Staying connected on your WFH cruise is not a problem from what I’ve seen.

It’s around $360 a night for two people and it includes food, room, Wi-Fi, and laundry. That’s a lot more than you’d get in a hotel.
